We recorded 4 different tracks of shekere's (more or less a hollow gourd with beans on it) in the beginning of this song. Donna Bostock was my percussionist at the time. Donna, Lisa and I would spend hours sitting around drinking coffee and creating parts in my songs with all of her "toys." She was just back from a trip to Cuba and rocked on her conga's.
